Activities To Do During Winter Break!

There is something about this time of year that puts parents on edge...  how will we entertain the children during winter break and the holidays?  Here are some ideas to get you started!  Remember to build traditions and lots of memories along the way...

1.  Go to the movies.
2.  Visit the public library for storytime.
3.  Take a drive up to a snow tubing area and play!
4.  Bumpers or no bumpers - BOWLING...
5.  Cookie baking and decorating day...
6.  Go hot chocolate tasting - find the best one.
7.  Drive around and look at Christmas lights.

9.  Take a trip to the Oregon Zoo and see Zoolights!
10. Take a trip to Seattle for some fun times in a different city.
11. Go to the Oregon History Museum.
12. Go to OMSI for some fun!
13. Sing Christmas Carols.
14. Make cards for families and friends...
15. Watch Christmas movies together... complete with hot chocolate and blankets!
16. Don't forget about writing thank you notes to family and friends!
17. Think of a service project to get your children involved.  It could be serving a meal at the homeless shelter, donating a toy or providing for a family in need.
