March 11th -14th 2019

Please purchase your child’s ASB card a.s.a.p!  They are $15.00 and can be bought in the main office or by sending the $15.00 in an envelope and we’ll take care of it.

Spring conferences went great, thanks to those parents that came in to talk with me.  For those that I didn’t need to meet with you’ll have a conference packet behind this with their current stats and any hopes for the remainder of the school year.

As we progress further into the school year, we are starting to work more and more independently which is a huge learning curve for the kiddos but they are doing very well with it.  Writing seems to be our biggest struggle as whole class.  Between writing our letters the correct way, using our finger spaces, using our best penmanship, and taking our time to sound out the words and write what we hear.  Please help your kiddos by letting them write you notes, lists, letters to a friend, etc. in any spare time you have.

We’ve got a chunk of kids progressing through our SAM books really well.  They all seem to really like reading to the class which I find so amazing because I was always one of those kids that got nervous talking in front of people so it’s neat for me to watch the kids get more and more comfortable reading to their peers.
