May 13th - 17th 2019

If your child still has a library book checked out, PLEASE send it in a.s.a.p.!  If they are not in (or paid for) by the end of the year you will not receive your child’s report card.  We are trying to be the first class to have them all turned in so we can get a prize and we’re about 4 away!

The germs have once again hit room 202, we’re averaging 4 students being out every day this week.  We are once again talking a lot about how to not share germs and cleaning our room.  A lot of our students could use some extra reminders from home as well especially about keeping their hands out of their mouth and/or nose!!

As we get closer and closer to the end of the school year I am making even more work 100% independent, especially in our writing.  Some kids are thriving with it while others are missing part of 3rd recess to finish their work because they can’t stop talking during independent work time or simply just focus on the task at hand.  Please continue to have those discussions at home with your child about what they worked each day and encourage them to stay focused.  We have a lot of fun planned coming up but still have lots of work to do as well!

We are still gladly accepting snack donations.
