Financial Reality Fair

posted Apr 19, 2018, 3:54 PM by Ryan Greene
Juniors and seniors got the opportunity to practice real life math skills at the Financial Reality Fair. Hosted by Fibre Federal Credit Union, students were given a monthly income and credit limit. They had to go around to multiple booths and spend their hard earned "money" on things like housing, food, entertainment and transportation. At the end of the activity students added up their spending to see if they had lived within their means.

The volunteers from Fibre were impressed with how kind and respectful the students were.
