Profession Biography
I'm beginning my second year at Castle Rock and I am very excited for this school year and looking forward to challenging students in all aspects of their learning. I believe its important that students learn to be articulate themselves on paper and through presentations. I like students to be dynamic thinkers and to think outside of the box as I help prepare them for Life Skills at high school and beyond.

I graduated from Washington State University  2000 with a Bachelors in Social Science with an emphasis in History/Social Studies in conjunction with my Teaching Certification. Teaching is my second career but I have worked with kids for over 30 years in several different capacities and I enjoy watching all students grow to a higher level of learning and challenging themselves to the highest standard of learning. I first begin my teaching career in Arizona in 2008, and have taught at several school districts in Washington. I completed my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction at University of Phoenix in 2008.

I believe it is important to be involved in the district you are working therefore I coach Basketball and Softball and volunteer at dances and other events within the high school.

Motto: Believe all students can learn at a higher level of learning and never accept from a student "I can't attitude".
