Safety Drills

This month we are focusing on the HOLD protocol. This response protocol is utilized when there is something occurring within a school building and we want to prevent students or staff from being in the hallways, thus keeping them in their classrooms until the situation has been resolved. Examples of situations that may warrant the HOLD protocol include a spill or hazmat scenario or a medical emergency in the hallway.

This week, the week of November 11th, teachers will be reviewing the protocol with students and the week of November 18th each site will be conducting a simulation drill for the HOLD protocol.
