Castle Rock School District is proud to announce that our new website, launched in August 2023, has been awarded the 2024 National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) Publications and Digital Media Excellence Award!
The NSPRA Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards recognize outstanding education publications and marketing materials, including video, social media, and websites. These awards honor media that clearly express content, present information in an accessible manner, evoke positive responses, and reinforce the district’s brand identity.
“Our website serves as a vital communication tool for our district, and receiving this award highlights our dedication to maintaining open, effective communication with our community,” said Chris Fritsch, Castle Rock School District Superintendent. “We are committed to continual improvement and are honored to have this dedication recognized.”
Each year, more than 100 experienced communication professionals from around the country volunteer to serve as judges in NSPRA’s National School Communication Awards contest, using a set of established criteria based on industry best practices.
Designed by Laura Martin, ESD 112’s WordPress Developer/Content Marketing Manager, the Castle Rock School District website allows visitors to easily engage with district news and events. It features a user-friendly design, comprehensive resources for parents, students, and staff, and intuitive navigation while maintaining the community-oriented Rock Solid branding.
Additional elements required for website entries of this award included engaging and up-to-date content, accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and effective imagery that reflects the district’s demographics.
