In December, Levi Godhino was sworn in as one of Castle Rock School District’s newest at-large board members.

After receiving his own extensive education – he holds both a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in accounting – Godinho earned his CPA license and started his career as a tax accountant. Now, he’s nearing two years as a financial advisor.

Having lived in Castle Rock for over twenty years, Godinho knows how important the students are to the community. He wants to help grow their opportunities so they can excel within Castle Rock and beyond.

“Castle Rock is such a giving community,” Godinho said when asked what he loves about Castle Rock. “People are willing to spend their time and resources to make this community better.”

In his free time, Godinho loves to spend time with his wife and family. Whether coaching wrestling, hiking, or giving back to his church, he remains an active member of his community.

School board members are locally elected public officials who volunteer their time to help guide their community’s public schools. They are responsible for helping to set the vision, mission, and strategic goals for the district, and help review, revise and adopt policies.
