Yesterday! such a bright, ‘almost’ spring day at the CRMS Castle Rock, WA, Rocket Garden – CRMS with 6th grade garden class students. With bags of saved water bottles, they tackled the task of turning them into mini-greenhouses for starting seeds early.

Such a perfectly sunny afternoon to be looking toward summer flowers for pollinators and the early vegetable plants for transplanting out later in the spring season. This garden made possible by grants and donations. Many thanks to Weyerhaeuser, Rotary Club of Kelso, Kellogg Garden Organics, Castle Rock Middle School, Home of the Rockets, Castle Rock School District, Home of the Rockets, Castle Rock Blooms volunteers and the non-profit organization Castle Rock Community Development Alliance

Spring is coming! and there will be lots of activity in that garden as the weather warms. ‘like’ their page to stay up to date on all that is happening…………. and the chatter and the smiles.
