As violent acts continue and to be shared across multiple media outlets and platforms, the link attached shares practical strategies for parents and all adults to use with children of all ages that reinforces that they are safe and ways to enhance their feelings and perceptions of being safe.  I encourage all of us to take time to utilize these strategies with our children and students as the topics arise.  Working together, we can make our world a safer place.cf
